He  placed  before  them  food  and  drink
And  built  a  place  to  live,
Because  he  gave  his  life  to  Christ,
He  had  so  much  love  to  give.

And  if  we  all lived  such  as  he,
In  God's  Will  and  with  His  Grace,
We'd  see  this  whole  world  turn around
And  become  a  better  place.

The  little  orphan  boys  and  girls
Were  wandering  around.
Hungry,  thirsty,  needing  love,
There  was  none  to  be  found.

A  little  here,  a  little  there,
Almost  enough  to  sustain.
But  gnawing  hunger  did  not  cease,
And  neither  did  the  pain.

And  growing  weaker  day  by  day,
Beginning  to  despair,
A  stranger  took  them  by  the  hands
And  gave  them  love  and  care.
