| A Mother's Joy To my children I have given, My grace to live in, The works of their hands I have blessed To make their new lives a success. Thank you My daughter for giving your all. To the son of your love's call, Your love shined through the day, and caused all to say. You made this your son's wedding. A joyful remembrance of the caring that a mother has for a son. In much the same way that God gave His only one. Though the cost to you in body and soul was high, But to see the love and joy in his eyes. You gladly paid the price. Even if others were as cold as ice. Your love carried the day, Even though many helped you to pray. Daughter it was My good pleasure to lend a hand. For you have shown My love in the land. I have blessed, and I will continue to bless, the work of your hands. Your expression of love will forever stand, as a pillar of remembrance before my eyes, because you paid no attention to the enemy's lies. You may feel unworthy in these days, just remember my daughter you are the object of the Father's gaze. Many Blessings to all Mothers from The Traveler. By Johnnie Amberson |
