| Dear Lord, we come to honor You For what we have today. The freedom to commune with You At work, at school and play. We praise You as we gather To worship, pray and sing. We give thanks for grace and mercy And salvation Jesus brings. You sent Your Son to set us free, And upon that rugged Cross, We gained freedom from our sins As You bore the greatest loss. |
| But Jesus conquered sin and death, Then He rose for us to see. That those who will believe in Him Also have the victory. Lord, we thank You for the brave who fought For the democratic way, for the soldiers who still fight And for the price they pay. We pray continued blessings Upon this vast, great land. Lord, continue to protect us By the might of Your Great Hand. |
