Hard to believe that you are already eight.
The years have passed at an incredible rate.
There is still some time to push your swing.
My little girl, I hope I never miss a thing.
Someday when the time should come.
Remember... I loved being your mom

One day I will look back and be so glad.
Thankful for all the precious time we had.
First I helped you walk and talk.
Next it was time to pick up the chalk.
I taught you how to read and write.
Even showed you how to fly a kite.

The seeds we planted sure did grow.
It was our biggest sunflower ever you know.
We raised a monarch, that you named Gem.
A most beautiful butterfly among them.
The next day we set her free.
It was absolute heaven on earth to see.
