| Looking back, I know I missed a lot of life, you see. If there's one thing that I could say...Don't try to be like me. I had no time for coloring, no time to play with clay. I assumed you learned most things at school while I worked everyday. And I was blessed to have some help from friends and family, But it did not make up for the time that was meant for you and me. Please forgive me and remember, when you have children of your own, That sometimes it's necessary to just hang up the phone. And just try staying home with them a little while and play, Although at work you can't afford to miss another day. Because if, in fact, you never do...just look at what you've lost, And there's no way to buy it back...you don't know what life costs. By Angela U. |
