| Forever From the very first moment, you had a place in my heart. My best friend, my beloved companion right from the start. I watched you learn. I watched you grow. I loved you more than you could know. Our friendship is forever, and I never wanted it to end. Against the hands of time we can not defend. As the years exposed your elucidate eyes, I knew just what you were saying. I didn't want to believe it, so I kept on praying. You always had so much pride. Your pain you tried hard to hide. As your health becomes so poor. I can not bear to see you suffer anymore. I tell you I love you, and I feel so weak, as you lay there and kiss the tears off my cheek. So many hellos and only one goodbye. Hopelessly all I can do is cry. As you take your last breath, I am filled with devastating sorrow. I do not know how to face your death, or even tomorrow.
