His tender mercy touched my heart
As I sit and wonder about my life

I hear the birds in the early morning
Singing as if to let me know He is around

With all God has created

In the twinkling eyes of a child
To the aging mother who sits nearby

His love has given me strength
His love has guided me here

His love hopefully will live forever in my heart
