But I have arrived;
I'm now really alive.
Dry every tear.
I am finally here.

Receive you reward of service and love,
patience long suffering bravely borne.
Well done thou good and faithful one,
come enter the joy of the Lord.

And I have arrived;
I'm now really alive.
Dry all my tears.
I am finally here.

Finally here. Finally here.

He nodded His head wearing a smile and said:
"Welcome home my child!"
I've always believed the time would come,
when all would be worthwhile.

But I have arrived;
I'm now really alive.
Dry every tear.
I am finally here.

He'd told me if I'd just persevere,
all things would soon be clear.
Many times I thought for sure I'd failed,
but His love and strength prevailed.
