| One Hundred Women In Hats |
| Sitting so proudly upon each head, Fashion statements are being read. One hundred women in hats you see. Wearing their hat so graciously. Hats, hats, hats are everywhere. Catching other’s attention, I declare. Tall ones, short ones, full and slim. Hats to match each ladies appeal. Hats, Hats, Hats oh can’t you see.? They enhance the outfit so graciously. I even see purses and shoes to match. You do look great and that’s a fact. The outside so shinny and looking clean. But the inside is fashioned with other things. Bitterness, envy, and jealousy I see. Hurts, wounds, guilt, and fear buried deep. Hats to cover the outside you see, But No hat to cover a heart that is unclean. By Mary Ann D. |
