As I sit here today                         
thoughts run through my mind.
Wondering if others have ever thought
Of Jesus and his times.

When he walked the roads, among men
in flesh and with pure love.
Oh how many roads he traveled
with the guidance from above.

No complaints, for he already knew,
As for tears he shed,
Was for us all.
Continuing his work and healing on earth
until his final call.

The gravel roads he walked along,
temptation trying to entwine.
And with the purest love inside his heart,
He yelled *get behind*!!

We all have been tempted, in our lives,
For selfish reasons, we all do know

And to turn are back on those temptations
Makes our love for Jesus show.

So if ever a day comes,
when old temptation calls.

Stop!

And not listen to its kind,
But say out loud,
with the love of Jesus in your heart

Temptation....get behind!!!!
