| How can we ever thank you no words can ever say. What do we do to show our love, for what you did for us that day. You let yourself be condemned to die, for the crimes you didn't do. You let yourself be tortured, and no one defended you. It's hard for me to imagine, the pain that you went through. and it's harder yet to understand, why you even wanted too. No one tried to help you, with the Cross you had to bear. They just walked along behind you, and they laughed and diden't care. Then some of them made up a Crown, of thorns for you to use. They laughed and put it on your head, and called you The King Of Jews. As they nailed your body to the Cross, the only words that came from you. Was "PLEASE FORGIVE THEM FATHER" for they know not what they do. I know that we don't deserve the Gift, that you gave us on that day. When you gave your life upon The Cross, and washed our sins away. Thank you Jesus and thank You Lord for allowing Your Son to die for our sins. Maybe some day we will be deserving of Your Love. |
