The Fledgling
Teaching right from wrong as I tag along. I will soon tie my shoes the same as you do. Soon there will be a day I will fly away. Leaving the empty nest someday like a guest. Love like this can't be bought. It's something that's sought. Love comes without a bow. A gift that does grow. It flows out of the heart. God's love from the start. He gave, mothers, a gift. It's there to uplift.

A touch of a mother is like no other. The hands that reach for mine as you make it fine. There you are to guide me as I learn to flee. I have so much to learn. For love I do yearn. You are there to teach me of what I'm to be. There to show me the way as I grow each day. I am a little tot who becomes distraught? If you've time to believe that I might achieve.
