| The Kiss Goodnight Do you see my anguish? Can you feel my pain? Another unexpected loss. No one can explain. I will never forget the scars, they carelessly cut so deep. The ones that last consciously, and even haunt you in your sleep. As I bow on bended knee. I must evade dwelling on what is not meant to be. I can only embrace the new dawn, and shall courageously carry on. I know you have answers and reasons. Just as you created the ever changing seasons. Lord please hold my babies, and tuck them in tight. I trust you will not forget to kiss them goodnight. Michelle G. |
