| The Man of Matthew 5 |
His is the kingdom of Heaven, He has inherited the Earth, Because he was filled with righteousness For which he did hunger and thirst. He has obtained God's mercy, And he's looking into God's face. He is forever a child of the King, Because he left peace in this place. He is rejoicing and glad today, For he has received great reward. He was as salt and light in this world, And his works glorified our great Lord. This poem was written in memory of Mr. Cecil Usher, who did his best to obey the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:48 |
