The Mantle

As you carry this mantle, let not your heart Be heavy, nor your spirit be blue And in the times of adversity Let your smile for God shine through. For you are the apple of His eye And the flavor of His Heart Both bright, bold, and beautiful Anointed and set apart.
Now lift high your head And carry this mantle For God is but testing your Faith during this battle. And carry your mantle high above All the things that so sorely distress you For God's only intention Is to strengthen and bless you......
And if you wait on God With patience and faith to endure Your life will be blessed And your future secure. For the race is not given To the swift nor the strong And it's always the darkest Before the early morning dawn.
