When I Pray

I'm sitting contemplating on things I can do.
I know I'm going through because I turned my back on you.
I never would have thought that I would be in this situation.
I'm sick and tired Lord, but I know you're trying to teach me patience.
How can I cry when my test of times is suddenly at hand.
I need to pray Lord, but I don't know where I stand.
I feel like my time is short and I'm choking like I can't catch my breath.
I've fallen down so hard that I can't get up by myself.
I'm looking for a man to rescue me,
when I know there isn't a man on earth that can give me what I need.
So I thank you for the mercy that rises with me,
I know that i will need it so please Jesus keep praying for me.
All of these things I say in Jesus' name,
so that I know you can hear me when I pray.
