Who Am I?
Lord, give me vision, let me see
what I must do if I'm to achieve.
Just like an Eagle in its flight;
grant me wisdom and true sight.

If only I could just believe,
if ever this safe nest I leave,
I'd soar above the lowly clouds,
in total meekness, not too proud.

I want your heart to be in mine,
so it shows forth all that is thine,
for it is you I wish to please
give me a chance that I might seize.
I need your help, so I may grow.
A child, I've little to bestow.
There are valleys down-below
when life is hard, and spirit low.

Shining forth, like beacon-light,
I'd try to guide those in the night,
if you give me the words to say,
to them I'd show a brighter day.

What is a dream without true sight,
if it has no internal light?
What does it take to help inspire
others with your holy fire?
