He taught against all philosophies of the human race!
The beliefs of a man whose origins they could not erase.
How could a babe born in Bethlehem of all places, forgive;
He claimed to be the bread of life and you must eat of Him to live.

Self-righteous folks thought His miracles foolish after all,
who would heal on a sabbath day forbidden by protocol.
The disciples did not wash their hands according to the law.
They could not believe in this man called Jesus, He had many flaws.

Their hearts were ravaged with unspoken fear as Jesus drew near.
What was it about this man wherever He went the crowds appear;
whose feet did walk the shores of Galilee, so we could be set free.
He was the Son of God, The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, you see.
