| One day all alone and feeling blue. No good I could find in all that I do. Then I looked at the picture of you. A smile so bright and true. My spirit was lifted and so was my mood. For your smile changed my whole attitude. The rest of the day my smile was their to stay. It changed me in every way, that day. So I passed it on as I went on my way. To clerk at the store, smile I did say. For it will change your attitude today. To guard at the gate ruff and grim, as he looked my way. Saying good morning with a smile, it is just my way. I could see a change in his eyes as he to looked to say, What kind of a day? Then with a grin he went on his way. I was glad to share your smile today. And so it was the whole day through. To every one I did meet, your smile I shared today. I do hope you don’t mind my sharing your smile in this way. For it is a beautiful smile I must say. It has brightened every one's day.
